What is CBD?
CBD or cannabidiol is one of the many compounds that naturally occurs in the cannabis plant. It has become increasingly popular in the medical world due to the positive effects it is thought to have throughout the body and mind.
How does CBD make you feel?
This is not a straightforward question to answer as this depends on the amount of CBD taken, what the individual is taking it for and how much they take. Once taken, CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Everybody has an ECS and this system is responsible for important roles in the body like the immune system, pain receptors and regulation of appetite and metabolism. A sufficient dose of CBD can make you feel energized, balanced and healthier.
Does CBD make you high?
No it doesn’t. Cannabidiol (CBD) is the natural compound found in cannabis and hemp. Another cannabinoid element is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), this is the compound known for its psychoactive effects when consumed. CBD does not cause a high like THC.

This depends on the strength and format of CBD you are taking as well as your weight and any health conditions you may have. If you’re using oil, it will most likely come in a dropper bottle. The packaging will specify how much CBD is in a single drop so you can work it out from there. When it comes to strength it is always best to start with a small dosage and gradually increase ths by 5mg per week until you reach the perfect amount for you.

Will CBD help me with pain?
CBD has been thought to help with pain. CBD is known to interact with your endocannabinoid system through different receptors all over the human body. This system is also involved in processes like inflammation, stress, pain, sleep and appetite. Cannabinoids are able to interact with these receptors and activate systems that alter the brain’s perception of pain.
Will CBD help me with anxiety?
CBD has been thought to help with anxiety, this is through its interaction with serotonin receptors. CBD works with the endocannabinoid system and can also bind to other receptors in the brain like the serotonin receptor. Serotonin deficiency is linked to depression and other psychiatric disorders and it is thought that the effects CBD has on your mood and anxiety are related to this interaction.
